Vince Young and the Texas Longhorns defeated Matt Leinhart and the Southern California Trojans last night in a game that lived up to its hype and more. Finally, someone put the Trojans in their place... #2!

In my opinion, every LSU fan in Baton Rouge became Longhorns fans for one night just to see USC lose. After the complaints regarding USC sharing the national championship in 2004 and Auburn not sharing it last year, many loved to see the Trojans lose to Texas. USC had been ranked #1 in the AP poll for about two years. However, the complicated BCS computers consistently ranked Texas #1. It seemed, though, that the humans and sports commentators could not get over what appeared to be a West Coast bias.
