Well folks, it seems like the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs appear to be the last hope for hockey in Louisiana. With the final game for the Louisiana Ice Gators being played this spring, the Mudbugs are the last professional hockey team in Louisiana. The Mudbugs play in the Northeast Division of the Central Hockey League. Other teams in the division include the Memphis RiverKings, the Fort Worth Brahams, and the Youngstown Steelhounds.

The CHL season starts Friday, October 21st.
