Interesting that Penn State is at #1, however, I still hate the fact that USC is ranked above Texas. I prefer your poll to the BCS anyday! Maybe they should put this in one of the computers.

The Lake Charles newspaper will start publishing my rankings starting next week.
Penn State is #1 because the Big Ten had such a great start. Penn State appears to have the toughest schedule ever. However, many of the teams on their schedule are playing each other for the rest of the season, meaning that their SOS will level out a bit. PSU likely will drop. Florida State and Virginia Tech have the biggest advantages if they remain undefeated. Right below them are Alabama and Georgia. If two of those four and USC go undefeated, USC likely will be #3 in my rankings.
