A&M QB Weigman questionable against Mizzou

Texas A&M starting quarterback Conner Weigman is listed as “questionable” for Saturday’s top ten showdown against No. 9 Missouri. Weigman injured his shoulder in the season opener against Notre Dame. Backup Marcel Reed has played each of the last three games in his place.
The Aggies have won four straight after their week one loss, including the last three with Reed as the starter. There’s been no word yet if that will change Saturday. On the season, Weigman completed just over 52% of his passes with two touchdowns and two interceptions and just 5.1 yards per attempt. However, the redshirt sophomore was getting some preseason first round buzz in way-too-early NFL mock drafts.
Reed has been more than competent as the stand-in for Weigman. The freshman from Nashville has eight touchdowns on the season with zero interceptions and has averaged over 200 yards of total offense per game.
