Oklahoma rules Deion Burks out for fourth straight game
10/25/2024
Oklahoma will be without its biggest offensive threat once again this weekend, as Deion Burks was ruled out of Saturday’s game against Ole Miss.
Burks has been dealing with a soft tissue injury since the Tennessee game.
Despite missing the last three games, Burks still leads the Sooners in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.
Oklahoma will also be without four other receivers against the Rebels. Andrel Anthony, Jalil Farooq, Jayden Gibson and Nic Anderson have also been ruled out for Saturday.
The Sooners are currently a 20-point underdog against Ole Miss. It’s the first time in almost 27 years that Oklahoma has been a 20-point underdog in a game.
