Tigers tumble eight spots in Week 10 AP poll

Eight SEC teams were included in the Week 10 AP poll. Four teams in the Top 10 were on a bye this past weekend, but that didn’t keep voters from ranking three new teams in the Top 10 with Notre Dame, BYU and Texas A&M being ranked No. 8-10 respectively.
LSU saw the most significant drop as the Tigers fell from No. 8 to No. 16 after their 15-point loss on the road in College Station. Missouri dropped four spots to No. 25 after their 34-0 loss to Alabama. Vanderbilt dropped out of the rankings altogether after their three-point loss to No. 6 Texas, though they did receive the most votes of any team outside the Top 25 with 41.
Three SEC teams in total received votes outside of the top 25: Vanderbilt (41) Arkansas (4), and South Carolina (1).
