Heupel emotional after Tennessee tops Oklahoma

After a long offseason of anticipation and hype, Tennessee and Oklahoma finally squared off Saturday night in the first SEC game of the season for each team. Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel returned home to his alma mater–and former employer–but this time was on a different sideline, in different colors, and with a different logo on his chest.
However, it was the same final outcome he experienced 20 times as the starting QB for the Sooners–a win. Tennessee bludgeoned Oklahoma Saturday night 25-15, and gave the Sooners a memorable “Welcome to the SEC” moment in front a primetime national television audience.
After the win, Heupel was visibly emotional in the locker room as the Vols celebrated the win.
