Alabama loses five-star commitment Ty Haywood

Five-star offensive lineman Ty Haywood decommitted from Alabama on Monday. Haywood had been committed to the Tide since July 14th.Â

The news didn’t come as a big surprise to the Alabama staff, who reportedly didn’t consider him a commit after not signing with the other 21 members of the 2025 class in December. With his decommitment, Haywood becomes the only player for the 2025 class in the 247Sports Top 100 to not currently be signed with a school.Â
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound tackle prospect from Denton, Texas, is ranked No. 22 overall in the On3 Composite Industry Rankings. Haywood holds more than 30 offers from programs across the country, but is projected to commit to Michigan.
