Alabama’s staff continued to shuffle, following the hiring of Ryan Grubb as offensive coordinator. Early Monday, it was announced that last year’s offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan will move to quarterbacks coach for the 2025 season.

Sheridan oversaw the offense and offensive play calling last year. Alabama ranked 42nd in the country in yards per game at 410.2. Under Grubb’s direction in 2023, the Washington offense ranked 12th nationally. This will be the third team that Kalen Deboer and Ryan Grubb will coach together.

The quarterback room that Nick Sheridan will oversee should be one of the best in the country. It will feature former four-star Austin Mack, former five-star Ty Simpson, and the No. 2 overall player in the country from the 2025 class, Keelon Russell. Russell is the highest ranked recruit in Alabama program history.
