All-American Sydney Berzon enters transfer portal

Just days after a heartbreaking walk-off loss to end LSU’s season, an All-American is in the transfer portal.
Sydney Berzon, who just finished her third season as a Tiger and has been named an FCCA All-American twice, will look elsewhere. In her career, Berzon has won 52 games and saved nine more for LSU.
She led the 2025 team in appearances, starts, wins and ERA (among qualified pitchers) while sharing most of the time in the circle with freshman flamethrower Jayden Heavener.
Berzon, a Buffalo, N.Y., native will have on season of eligibility remaining.
