Arkansas adds DL commit to 2026 recruiting class

Arkansas added another player to their 2026 signing class on Monday. Defensive Lineman Ari Slocum committed to Sam Pittman and the Hogs, becoming the eighth player in their class. 

Slocum, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive lineman from Farmerville, Louisiana, held offers from several Power Four programs, including Missouri and Houston, but ultimately chose Arkansas.

“It’s the best choice for me to commit. Since he offered me to my face I’m going to commit to his face. It’s the right thing to do. Coach Adams told me he’s going to develop me on and off the field. I’m looking forward to that,” said Slocum.

Slocum adds to Arkansas’ already impressive 2026 class. The Hogs currently rank No. 8 overall, according to the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings.
