Auburn adds 2025 3-star in-state RB

Omar Mabson will be wearing the same name on his jersey at the next level. The three-star Auburn (Ala.) High running back has committed to Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers.

Mabson reclassified to join the 2025 class, where the On3 Composite ranks him as the No. 66 running back in the country. He held more than a dozen offers and chose Auburn over Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and USC among others.
The 5-foot-9, 200 pounder rushed for 1,515 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2024.
Mabson is the 26th commitment for Auburn’s class, which On3 ranks sixth nationally
