Catholic (BR) safety Bradford sets commitment timeline

One of the top uncommitted prospects in the class of 2026 is nearing his commitment announcement.
According to On3’s Chad Simmons, Blaine Bradford of Catholic (Baton Rouge) will make his pledge before his senior season with the Bears.
“I will likely commit before July,” Bradford told On3. “I am thinking late June, right after my official visits, but we will see how I am feeling. After my official visits, I will pray about it, talk to my family members and those close to me, then make my decision.”

Bradford in the No. 16 player in the country and the top-ranked safety in the On3 Composite rankings. On3 ranks the 6-foot-1, 195 pound defensive back as the seventh best player nationally. Rivals already considers Bradford a five-star prospect.
Bradford will decide among LSU, Texas and Ohio State. On3 gives the hometown Tigers a 93.9% chance of landing Bradford, whose older brother, Jacob Bradford, signed with LSU in the class of 2025.
