“It came down to relationships, development and how I grew up following the program that helped me choose Alabama,” Edmonds told On3. “I was leaning toward Alabama from the day I got the offer, but I liked Georgia, Tennessee and some other schools. The relationships developed and that is what took Alabama to the top.”
Edmonds is a consensus Top 100 recruit across all recruiting platforms. He also holds a five-star ranking and is the No. 1 cornerback in the 2026 recruiting class according to the latest 247Sports rankings.
Edmonds held offers from 43 schools across the country, but ultimately chose Alabama over Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas A&M. He is a rising senior at Sprayberry High school outside of Atlanta. He becomes the fourth commitment for Kalen Deboer and Alabama in the 2026 class, and his pledge vaulted the Tide from No. 13 to No. 5 in the national team composite rankings via On3.
