Corey Chest has found his new home.

The former LSU forward entered the transfer portal on March 24, and On3’s Joe Tipton reported Sunday that he will transfer to Ole Miss.

Chest redshirted in 2023-24 at LSU. As a freshman this past season, he played in 26 games, starting 19. He averaged 6.1 points and 6.6 rebounds while shooting 61 percent from the floor.

The 6-foot-8 forward grabbed 18 rebounds in a game at Alabama and secured 12 against Ole Miss. He was the first Tiger with six straight double figure rebound games since Ben Simmons in 2016.

Chest struggled from the free throw line, shooting just 45 percent. He also missed the final four games of the season with a foot injury and dealt with back spasms in February.

He has three years of eligibility remaining.
