LSU leads SEC in 2026 recruiting rankings

Earlier this week On3 made the first updates for their top 300 players in the 2026 recruiting class. There was a ton of movement throughout the entire top 300.
With player ranking updates also come shifts in team rankings, including several SEC programs that have seen significant movement across the board.
For the second year in a row, LSU will open the cycle with the highest ranked class in the SEC. The Tigers sit on top of the conference and at No. 3 nationally, despite having only six commitments. Brian Kelly and his staff have taken advantage of a bumper crop of talent in the state this year. Eight players from the state of Louisiana rank in the initial On3 Top 300, and LSU already has commitments from five of them.
Here’s a look at where every SEC team currently ranks in the 2026 Team Composite Recruiting Rankings with the total commitments listed in parenthesis.
