Brent Venables didn’t waste much time finding a new offensive coordinator.
Monday reports began to surface that Washington State offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle is headed to Norman. Oklahoma fired Seth Littrell seven game into the 2024 season. The Sooner offense finished last in the SEC in passing and 15th in total offense.
Arbuckle’s Cougar offense finished No. 9 in the country in scoring. The previous season, Washington State finished fourth in the country in passing under Arbuckle’s direction. Prior to his time at Washington State, Arbuckle enjoyed a productive two-year stint at Western Kentucky.
