OU Lands 5 Star OT From Texas

Oklahoma already has a big win over Texas and Texas A&M, and they haven’t even played a game as an SEC member yet.

The Sooners landed a commitment from five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi of Lewisville, Texas, on Wednesday.  OU beat the Longhorns, Aggies and Missouri for the blue-chip blocker’s pledge.

The 6-foot-5, 299 pounder is ranked the 12^th best player in the country in the On3 Industry Composite for the 2025 class.  He’s the third best offensive tackle and the fifth best player in Texas.

It’s a lean year at the top of the Lonestar state recruiting rankings for Texas and Texas A&M as the top six players for 2025 are all committed to out of state programs.

Fasusi is Oklahoma’s 23^rd commitment for the class, which ranks 11^th nationally and 7^th in the SEC.
