Phillips Flips From Texas to LSU

A star-studded LSU class of 2025 added another on Sunday.
The Tigers flipped four-star cornerback Kade Phillips from his Texas commitment. Phillips, a product of Hightower, TX, pledged to the Longhorns on July 6. Corey Raymond, Brian Kelly and the LSU staff continued their pursuit of the 6-foot-1, 185lb corner, and it paid off.
Phillips joins five-star DJ Pickett in LSU’s cornerback class, giving the Tigers two of the country’s top eight cornerbacks according to On3. Kelly’s 2025 crop now includes 23 commitments and is ranked third in the nation by On3 and 247Sports.
