Report: Taysom Hill suffered bruised lung

After being limited in practice throughout most of the week, New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill was ruled out Sunday morning ahead of their Week 3 matchup. The injury was considered a “chest injury” and led to imagining and tests conducted by the Saints but also at a local Dallas-area hospital.
Per NFL Insider Jay Glazer on FOX NFL Sunday, the injury was more extensive than just a chest injury. Turns out the Saints’ do-it-all weapon suffered a bruised lung.

Glazer says that the decision to not play him came down to breathing issues for the tight end as well as the team protecting him “from himself.” Much like the team’s decision to not play starting cornerback Marshon Lattimore last week against the Dallas Cowboys.
