Former Tigers Stingley, Chase ink record deals

Two members of the 2029 LSU national title team made history once again.
Ja’Marr Chase and Derek Stingley Jr. both inked record-setting contracts with their NFL franchises.
Chase’s deal, agreed upon with the Bengals Sunday evening, is worth $161 million over four seasons. The $40.25 million annually is the highest ever for a non-quarterback.

Stingley, still playing on his rookie contract, agreed to an extension of three-years worth $90 million. According to multiple reports, $89 million is guaranteed making Stingley the highest paid cornerback in league history.

Chase and Stingley both parlayed all-American careers at LSU to top five NFL Draft selections. They’ll now remain with the teams that drafted them.
