Tigers slide in polls after series loss

The top spot in college baseball’s polls may have been open had LSU been able to slam the door on a series win Sunday.

Instead, the Tigers gave up a two-run lead late and lost the series at Texas A&M, sending them sliding.

D1 Baseball dropped the Tigers a spot from No. 2 to No. 3. Florida State jumped in front.

Baseball America dumped the Tigers back to No. 6 with Georgia claiming the top spot in their poll.

Arkansas, LSU’s next opponent, moved from No. 10 to No. 3 by Baseball America and No. 11 to No. 7 by D1 Baseball.
