One day before the NBA Draft, the New Orleans Pelicans are trading veteran guard CJ McCollum to the Washington Wizards, according to Shams Charania.
The New Orleans Pelicans are trading CJ McCollum, Kelly Olynyk and a future second-round pick to the Washington Wizards for Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey and the No. 40 pick, sources tell ESPN.

According to the report, the Pelicans are sending McCollum, Kelly Olynky and a future second round pick to Washington. In exchange, the Pelicans will receive Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey and the 40th pick in this year’s draft.
Poole and Bey are both 26 years-old. McCollum is 33 and on an expiring contract.
