Trey’Dez Green’s night ended early against Louisiana Tech.
The sophomore tight end was slow to get up after being rolled up on a running play early in the fourth quarter of Saturday night’s home opener.
After spending about 15 minutes in the medical tent, he emerged with a brace on his right knee and on crutches.
Green was integral in LSU’s season-opening win at Clemson. He caught a touchdown and set up LSU’s other score with a pass interference he drew in the endzone.
He did not have a catch Saturday.
LSU has a pair of veteran tight ends in Bauer Sharp and Donavan Green to turn to. The only other scholarship tight end is freshman JD LaFluer.
