College Gameday traveled to Tuscaloosa on Saturday to preview the Alabama vs. Vanderbilt game. No, seriously. Welcome to college football in 2025.

Shockingly, there was a massive turnout for the event, and just like every Saturday there were some incredible moments. Here were a few of our favorites.

NSFW Nick Saban strikes again

An hour and a half before the Clemson-North Carolina game, the crew did an on-field interview with Bill Belichick. During the exchange, Belichick paid Nick Saban a compliment. It ended about how you’d expect.

Miss Terry brought snacks

Nick and Terry Saban returned to their former home, and they didn’t come empty handed. Before a special on the Nick’s Kids Foundation, Jess Sims asked Terry what Nick Saban’s favorite foods were. Apparently 73 year-old Nick Saban has the palate of a nine-year-old revealing that spaghetti, hot dogs, and her homemade pepperoni pizza rolls were his favorites.

Miss Terry didn’t bring any for Nick, but she did pass a bunch out to the crowd.

Kirk Herbstreit won someone $300,000

The weekly field goal competition held by Pat McAfee revealed it has now given away nearly $4 million in donations since they began the weekly segment last year. This week it was Gabby, a chemical engineering major, who had never kicked anything in her life besides her brother, according to her.

She waited in line since noon Friday to win a chance at getting picked. However, her initial attempt was so bad, they decided to give her a second chance with Herbstreit’s help.

Best Signs

There were a ton of signs with most directed at Diego Pavia and his age. Here were some of our favorites.
