College Gameday was in Utah for a Big 12 showdown between Cincinnati and Utah. Here were some of the best moments from the morning.

Arch Manning will start against Vanderbilt

Pete Thamel kicked off hour one confirming the news that the only player out for Texas in today’s game against Vanderbilt will be Michael Taffe. That means Arch Manning will play for the Longhorns in a huge game.

Pat McAfee tries to ice the kicker

The weekly kicking contest saw another new wrinkle this weekend. A rock climber called in a sub who kicked in high school to help win the contest. To counter, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit brought out two students to block the kick and also iced the kicker.

The theatrics were great, and ultimately Jonah and the rock climber won themselves $250,000.

Nick Saban’s NSFW Self Own

Ohio State QB Julian Sayin is leading the country in completion percentage at over 80% for the season. Sayin was the last quarterback recruit for Nick Saban while at Alabama before he retired. He had this to say about not playing him while Jalen Milroe was his quarterback.
