Verge Ausberry has been named LSU’s full-time athletics director, dropping the interim tag he was given Friday, a source confirmed to LouisianaSports.net.

New LSU President Wade Rousse made the decision Tuesday hours after being confirmed by the LSU Board of Supervisors.
Ausberry replaces Scott Woodward after he and the school mutually agreed to part ways last week.
