Two days after guiding Ole Miss to its first 10–1 start in more than 60 years, Lane Kiffin has reportedly been given an ultimatum in Oxford: the university wants his decision on next season’s plans by the Egg Bowl on November 28.
Ole Miss has told Lane Kiffin he needs to decide by the Nov. 28 Egg Bowl whether he’s staying at Ole Miss or taking either the Florida/LSU job.https://t.co/choExyRroa

The news comes just hours after Kiffin’s ex-wife, Layla Kiffin, toured Baton Rouge with family on Monday. She also visited Gainesville on Sunday for a similar walkthrough.
Kiffin has been tied to several college and NFL openings and is currently the betting favorite for both Florida and the New York Giants. Now in his sixth season at Ole Miss, he’s delivered four double-digit win campaigns, including each of the last three.
Ole Miss is off this Saturday but will return to action in Oxford on Friday, November 28, to face Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl.
