Devin Harper will play for his home state school after all.

The Shreveport (La.) Calvary product has committed to LSU via the transfer portal according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

Harper spent his freshman season at Ole Miss where he saw action in six games as a reserve. He took just 72 snaps on the season.

As a prospect, Harper (6’4, 315) was a consensus four-star and rated the No. 84 player in the nation in the Rivals Composite. He was a one-time LSU commit who flipped to Ole Miss a month before signing day.

With Harper, LSU has added five transfer offensive lineman this cycle. They had to remake the room after six players entered the transfer portal.

The Tigers return center Braelin Moore and right tackle Weston Davis.
