Matt McMahon’s corner is not empty.

FMOL Health CEO EJ Kuiper posted in support of LSU’s basketball coach on Wednesday night after the Tigers defeated Ole Miss in double overtime.

“LSU MBB beats Ole Miss in Oxford!! Matt McMahon is a good coach. Took over a program that was in shambles and had to deal with key injuries all season long. He deserves another chance,” Kuiper posted on his personal Instagram story.

Kuiper was on the six-person search committee for LSU’s head football coach in the fall when the Tigers lured Lane Kiffin from Ole Miss. FMOL Health is LSU’s official championship health partner.

McMahon has posted a 60-66 record at LSU including a 17-52 conference mark. LSU is 3-12 in league play with three games remaining in this season.

His contract runs through the 2028-29 season, and if terminated without cause, McMahon would be entitled to 80 percent of the remainder of his deal. The number to buy out McMahon and his staff would exceed $10 million.
