The NFL has announced the offseason workout dates for teams across the league. Among them were the New Orleans Saints’ Organized Team Activities (OTAs) and mandatory minicamp dates.
During this time, the team will conduct non-contact drills along with team meetings. OTA practices are voluntary to attend for players while the mandatory minicamp requires attendance.
Offseason Workout Dates
- First day: April 20
- OTA practices: May 27-28, June 1, June 3-4, June 8, June 10-11
- Mandatory minicamp: June 16-17
Mandatory minicamps are usually three days long, but the Saints have scheduled just two days. This signals the plan for a potential team-building event for the third down.
Last year, the team had three such practice days scheduled, but canceled the final day for a team outing. This time around, it appears the Saints are planning ahead.
