Saints announce seven draft class signings

As rookie minicamp is set to kickoff on Friday, the New Orleans Saints have announced that seven of their eight-player draft class have now been signed.

The following players have now signed their rookie deals:

The lone unsigned selection isn’t surprising, second-round defensive tackle out of Georgia, Christen Miller. The ongoing deliberation of guaranteed money for second-round draft picks hasn’t slowed one bit.

The table is set for Miller to receive a fully guaranteed deal with 2026 No. 38 overall selection, safety Treydan Stukes, getting a 100% guaranteed deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. Last year’s No. 40 overall selection, Saints quarterback Tyler Shough, also earned one.

It appears likely that Miller will earn a boost from last year’s No. 42 overall selection, New York Jets tight end Mason Taylor. The former LSU pass-catcher earned a 91% guaranteed deal, up 55% from the season before.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Saints await the fate of the No. 41 overall contract first, but it’s widely expected that Miller will see a completely, or very close to completely, promised deal by the time all is said and done.
