Saints underdogs in 12 games after NFL schedule release

The full NFL schedule has been released and now every game of the season has a spread attached to it.

These lines will move vastly over time but it’s a great way to look at the season and how each team is viewed.

This email has the NFC South games lines from BetOnline.ag.

There are notes for each team but multiple things also for the NFC South.

1. The oddsmakers think the Panthers playing a first place schedule will expose them as they are only favorites in three games.
2. This is the worst division by far. In non-division games:
   1. They are underdogs in 37 of 44 games
   2. That is 84.1% of games
   3. They are underdogs in 19 of 20 road games (95%)
   4. The only road non-division game the NFC South is favored in is Week 3 when the Panthers visit the Browns.

Falcons Notes:

• They are favored in 2 games and dogs in 15
• They are dogs in every non-division game
• They are dogs in every game from Week 3 to Week 17
• Biggest favorite is -1½ vs Panthers and Saints
• Biggest dog is +7½ at Packers
• For a team that is a dog in 15 games, it is a bit surprising that +7½ is the largest line

• They are favored in 3 games and dogs in 14
• They are dogs in every game from Week 4 to Week 13
• Biggest favorite is -2½ vs Falcons
• Biggest dog is +7 at Packers

Saints notes:

• They are favored in 5 games and dogs in 12
• They are dogs in every game from Week 11 to Week 15
• Biggest favorite is -5½ vs Cardinals
• Biggest dog is +7½ at Ravens

Buccaneers notes:

• They are favored in 9 games and dogs in 8
• They are favored in every division game
• Biggest favorite is -5½ vs Browns
• Biggest dog is +6 at Ravens
