All three of LSU’s Media Days representatives made the pre-season all-conference team.
Five Tigers were selected as first team honorees including tight end Trey’Dez Green and linebacker Whit Weeks who both made the trip to Tampa.
Transfer tackle Jordan Seaton, transfer edge rusher Princewill Umanmielen and punter Grant Chadwick joined them.
On the second team, secondary standouts DJ Pickett and Ty Benefield made the cut. Linebacker TJ Dottery and center Braelin Moore were on the third team.
LSU was picked to finish fifth in the SEC behind Georgia, Texas, Ole Miss and Texas A&M but ahead of 2025 playoff teams Alabama and Oklahoma.

Quarterback Sam Leavitt did not make one of the three pre-season teams. Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, Texas’s Arch Manning and Georgia signal caller Gunner Stockton were the three quarterbacks selected.
