Two more former LSU Tigers are on the move as the MLB trade deadline approaches.
Josh Smith is headed to the Toronto Blue Jays after the Rangers traded the infielder and pitcher Josh Stephan to Toronto for lefty Adam Macko.

Anthony Eyanson is staying in the AL East after Boston traded the right handed pitcher to Baltimore in the Adley Rutschman deal, according to Jeff Passan.

Veteran hurler Kevin Gausman was traded from Toronto the the Chicago Cubs Sunday.
Smith is in his fifth big league season, all with the Rangers, after being drafted by the Yankees in the second round in 2019. A bout with viral meningitis in May has limited Smith to just 45 games this season where he’s hitting just .213.
Eyanson is a fast-rising prospect, sporting a 1.69 ERA in 11 appearances with AA Portland this season with 60 strikeouts in 48 innings pitched.
