Jayden Daniels drama sends Dan Quinn firing odds soaring

Geoff Burke

One week ago, we sent out every NFL coach’s chance of being the first man fired during the 2026 season.

The Jets’ Aaron Glenn was at the top of the list last Monday, but today there’s a new favorite on the heap of the hot seat board.

BetOnline Sports & Casino updated its “first coach fired” odds following the first week of preseason, and Dan Quinn is currently the favorite.

Jayden Daniels had an interesting week of drama, shall we say, so perhaps people are betting on him losing the locker room of sorts.

BetOnline reports that Quinn has had twice as much bet on him than the next-closest candidate (Todd Bowles). Quinn had 12/1 odds last week.

First coach fired odds will be updated daily throughout the season here: https://www.betonline.ag/sportsbook/futures-and-props/nfl-regular-season/first-head-coach-fired
