LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt enters the 2026 season with a chance to emerge as one of college football’s biggest stars. Leavitt is listed at 14-to-1 to win the Davey O’Brien Award, given annually to the nation’s top quarterback. That puts him among the top 10 betting choices, behind favorites CJ Carr, Arch Manning, Dante Moore and Julian Sayin.
Leavitt also has two receivers generating national attention. Jackson Harris and Tre Brown III are both listed at 25/1 to win the Biletnikoff Trophy, awarded to college football’s most outstanding receiver. Only a dozen players have shorter odds, with Ohio State superstar Jeremiah Smith the favorite at 5/2.
