Saints’ veteran running back Kamara returns to practice

The New Orleans Saints welcomed back one of their star running backs on Tuesday with the official start of practices ahead of their Week 1 2026 season debut.

The position had only one healthy back on the active roster over the course of the bonus week practices, starter Travis Etienne Jr. On Tuesday, however, the Saints welcomed back running back Alvin Kamara for the first time since the team’s joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys.

New Orleans also saw the return of running back Kendre Miller, further good news for the position group.

Getting Delp and Estime back would be huge for the Saints going into their season opener, but the team won’t see Jordan this week, who head coach Kellen Moore has already ruled out for the week.
