Will Wade has landed his first five-star since returning to LSU.
King Gibson, a 6-foot-4 combo guard from Greensboro, NC., pledged to the Tigers Sunday night according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.
Gibson is a consensus top 16 player nationally and is rated as the No. 1 guard in the country by On3. He chose the Tigers over offers from Louisville, Michigan and Arkansas among others.
With Ahmad Hudson committed to the football program as a potential two-sport athlete, Gibson becomes the second member of basketball Class of 2027 and puts LSU as the No. 2 class in the country early in the cycle.
