EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The New Orleans Saints have announced their inactive players for their Week 6 matchup with the New York Giants. Two players were already ruled out with injuries in linebacker Kaden Elliss and edge rusher Anfernee Jennings.
As expected, however, two players that were listed as questionable, wide receiver Chris Olave and running back Alvin Kamara are both set to go.
Here are both teams’ inactives for Sunday’s game:
New Orleans Saints Inactives
- QB Zach Wilson (third QB)
- EDGE Anfernee Jennings (knee)
- S Mike Reid
- LB Kaden Elliss (calf)
- DL Nathan Shepherd (illness)
- DL John Ridgeway III
Shepherd will miss his second consecutive game with illness. That’s not promising for a Saints run defense that’s struggled and currently ranks No. 30 in total rushing yards surrendered and No. 26 in yards allowed per carry.
New York Giants Inactives
- CB Colton Hood
- QB Jake Haener (3rd QB)
- OL Jeremaine Eluemunor
- S Tyler Nubin
- TE Theo Johnson
- DL CJ Okoye
As for the Giants, they will have edge rusher Abdul Carter and left tackle Andrew Thomas ready to go, however, they’re going to be without their starting right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor. That means there’s potential for a big day for edge rusher Carl Granderson.
