LSU among top CFP title contenders in latest odds

Stephen Lew

LSU remains firmly in the national championship picture as the College Football Playoff odds continue to shift entering November. According to BetOnline Sports & Casino, the Tigers have 9/1 odds to win the national title, tied with Ohio State for the fourth-shortest odds in the country and ahead of SEC rivals Alabama (19/2), Texas (12/1) and Ole Miss (16/1). Georgia (7/2) leads the field, followed by Notre Dame (19/4) and Miami (6/1). With a pivotal showdown against Alabama looming in Tiger Stadium, Lane Kiffin’s Tigers have an opportunity to strengthen their championship credentials and improve their position in an increasingly competitive playoff race.
