LSU DE Swinson honored for USC performance

LSU defensive end Bradyn Swinson has been named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week by the league office for his performance Saturday at South Carolina.
The senior recorded five tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble against the Gamecocks. The Tigers rallied from down 17-0 in the first half to win, 36-33. Swinson is an Oregon transfer in his second season in Baton Rouge. His three sacks against USC are a career high.
LSU returns home Saturday to face UCLA at 2:45 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.
