Ole Miss saw their College Football Playoff hopes extinguished Saturday in Gainesville. Florida upended the No. 9 Rebels, 24-17, handing Lane Kiffin’s squad their third loss on the season and very likely eliminating them from playoff contention.
The Rebels outgained the Gators by more than 100 yards, but going 0-for-3 in the red zone proved to be their undoing.
Billy Napier scores a huge upset at home for the second straight week and Lane Kiffin and the Rebels will waste one of college football’s most expensive rosters. Social media had a field day with this one.
