Oklahoma wide receiver Nic Anderson may be out several more weeks with his quad injury that has sidelined for almost the entire season. Anderson, a redshirt sophomore, has only played in one game this season, a home loss to Tennessee. He didn’t record a stat in the Sooners’ 25-15 loss.

Anderson was outstanding a year ago when he recorded 38 catches for 798 yards and ten touchdowns. He became only the third player since CeeDee Lamb to finish the season with over 20 yards per catch for the Sooners.

The injury bug has bitten Oklahoma pretty hard in their inaugural season in the SEC. Last week, they played Auburn without their top five wide receivers. Oklahoma has an open date this weekend before their annual showdown against rival Texas in Dallas on October 12th.
