Seniors Sage Ryan and Bradyn Swinson will not play in the first quarter Saturday.
Swinson has been LSU’s best pass rusher, notching a team-high eight sacks. Ryan has played cornerback and safety this season for the Tigers and sixth on the team in tackles.
Freshman Gabriel Reliford will start the game in Swinson’s place at defensive end. Da’Shawn Womack did not travel with the team to Florida. Davhon Keys, a true freshman, will start at Star with Major Burns bumping back to safety when Ryan had been playing. It will be the first start for both Keys and Reliford.
