Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe is expected to forego his final year of eligibility and enter next year’s NFL Draft. That’s according to a report from Alex Scarborough of Bama247.
At one point after the Georgia game there were many who thought Jalen Milroe could project as the No. 1 overall player taken in next year’s draft. Since then, his stock has dropped after throwing for five touchdowns to nine interceptions in his final eight games. He also didn’t throw for a touchdown in four of his final five games, the exception being against Mercer.
Milroe finished the season with 2,652 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while scoring 20 more touchdowns on the ground.
The decision will officially come after Alabama’s bowl game against Michigan. The Tide is set to play the Wolverines in the Reliaquest Bowl on December 31.
