Delane is the second cornerback addition via the Transfer Portal for the Tigers this cycle. He joins former Florida standout Ja’Keem Jackson, who signed with LSU over the weekend.
The 6-foot-1, 187-pounder was a Freshman All-American in 2022 when he started four games and led the Hokies with eight pass breakups. Over his three seasons in Blacksburg, Delane played in 33 games with 29 starts. As a junior in 2024, he totaled 54 tackles with two interceptions.
Delane will have one season of eligibility remaining.
LSU returns junior Ashton Stamps and welcomes No. 1 cornerback signee DJ Pickett in 2025.
