The Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl has once again banned Bevo, the Texas Longhorns’ live mascot, from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This is the second time this season that the 1,700-pound steer was put on the naughty list by the venue. He was also not allowed to roam the sidelines during the SEC Championship game against Georgia in early December.

Regardless of the explanation, here’s a list of things I wish were banned this postseason instead of Bevo:
1. 12,092 shots of Matthew McCounaughey during every Texas game
2. People using the word “gritty” or “sneaky athletic” describing Cam Skattebo
3. Dan Wolken tweeting College Football opinions at all
4. Grown adult Georgia fans barking at other human beings
5. Hayes Fawcett commitment graphics. Give that dude a vacation and a break
6. Multiple Cheez-It Bowls
7. That Hawaiian Christmas Song that I can’t spell or pronounce
8. Four hour broadcasts
9. Any broadcast on TNT
10. Kirk Herbstreit slander on social media for saying what most logical people were thinking
I understand the reasoning behind it. Bevo is a wild animal and organizers don’t need an SUV-sized animal in the building. Who knows, maybe the Chick-Fil-A cows were a little jealous of his horns, or literacy.
