LSU’s win on Sunday cost the Tigers five spots in the NET rankings.
LSU sits at No. 62 with one non-conference game to play. That will come Saturday against winless Mississippi Valley State who currently ranks last among the 364 teams in the country.
Seven of LSU’s 10 wins have come against Quadrant 4 teams. Both of LSU’s losses have come in Quadrant 1.
Nine of the SEC’s 16 teams rank in the Top 31 of the NET including Auburn, Tennessee and Florida who rank in the Top 4. South Carolina’s No 84 ranking represents the bottom of the league.
