Former Kentucky wide receiver Dane Key has committed to Nebraska. Key chose the Cornhuskers over Georgia and Ole Miss and had several other suitors as well.
The junior from Lexington, Ky., just wrapped up his third year at Kentucky where he led the Wildcats in receptions and receiving yards for the second straight season. He finishes his career at UK with 126 receptions, 1,870 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns.
Key’s commitment comes as a bit of a surprise as On3 predicted him to land at Georgia with a 97 percent confidence. Key was a four-star recruit out of high school and is the No. 9 ranked overall player in this year’s transfer portal according to On3’s Composite Rankings.
